Après Vanilla Sky, on apprend dans une interview du groupe "A Thorn For Every Heart", que Mark va travaillé pour leur nouvelle album :

What drew you to (+44) and then working with Mark Hoppus?

"We're label mates - they're an Interscope band. We were all big fans of Blink-182, and (+44) is really great as well. It's just an opportunity of a lifetime. Mark Hoppus is someone we all looked up to. It was one of the first times I was ever starstruck, like, 'Oh, my god, I'm working with this person, sitting in a room, and this guy's telling me it's great.' "
